Today we bring you the first of our three interviews conducted as part of our forum ‘Teacher Interviews: Stories of Transformation,’ at the JALT2016 conference in Nagoya.

In this episode, Matt speaks to Sarah Mercer. Sarah works at the University of Graz in Austria as the head of ELT Methodology. Sarah’s research interests include learner self-concept, complexity, psychology in language learning, as well as teacher/learner mindset.
