Welcome back to The TEFLology Podcast – a podcast all about teaching English as foreign language and related matters.
In this episode, we bring you an interview with Dr. Christina Gkonou. Christina is a senior lecturer in the Department of Language and Linguistics at the University of Essex in England.
Her research interests include psychology of foreign language learning and teaching, language teacher agency and identity, and language teacher and learner emotions – the topic of this interview.
Matt spoke to Christina in June 2018 during her trip to Japan, where she was a plenary speaker at the JALT Teacher Development SIG’s Teacher Journeys conference.
We hope you enjoy the interview!
