For this week’s episode, we bring you a recording made at the excitELT conference, that took place last Sunday in Tokyo.

ExcitELT is an independent venture started by a teacher based in Beijing. Unlike many larger academic conferences, ExcitELT is not sponsored or affiliated with any organisations, but is devised and carried out by a small group of volunteers, with most of the proceeds going to charitable courses.

The episodes features interviews with three of the featured speakers, former guests John Fanselow and Mike Griffin, and Atsuko Watanabe. Atsuko is author of “Reflective Practice as Professional Development Experiences of Teachers of English in Japan,” published by Multilingual Matters, and works an associate professor at Bunkyo University, on the outskirts of Tokyo.
